The Surroundings

This Villa is in such an idyllic position with its own beach and stunning views that most visitors do not move far! But if you decide to venture further afield, there’s much to discover.

There are glorious walks from the villas front gate which will give you opportunity to experience Alonissos’ thyme and pine-scented beauties.

Agios Dimitrios beach is only a few minutes’ drive or walk away. It offers excellent swimming and snorkelling. A lovely cantina offers rolls and cold drinks you can enjoy there or take back to your villa.

The little fishing hamlet of Kalamakia is about five minutes’ drive away and has several tavernas. Kalamakia has a lovely atmosphere in a very traditional laid back style. Eating places offer excellent fresh fish and salads from the owners' gardens.

The beautiful natural inlet of Steni Vala is about ten minutes’ drive and offers a wonderful vantage point to while away a few hours people and boat spotting. It also has a good choice of tavernas, coffee shops and a small bar. If you’d like to cook with some of the island’s abundance of local produce, there is a very well stocked mini market providing fresh bread, fruit and vegetables.
