Access to Anasa Villa is through a private gateway. Rather steep fully lit steps lead down to the villa.

The Jacuzzi is wonderful; saw dolphins leaping whilst there.

A large wraparound terrace offers full sun and shaded areas all day long. It is equipped with a sun canopy, sun loungers and a hammock swing seat.

There is a large outdoor dining table and chairs under the sun canopy, together with a barbecue. This make leisurely evenings of food and wine essential! Charcoal is provided for the barbecue.

Things to do at this most wonderful place: sit at full moon in the Jacuzzi and drink a glass of champagne; sit on a moonless night on the verandah and observe the stars in the sky; observe the bay in the afternoon and look for the dolphins and if you are lucky – the Monk seals.

From this terrace, you can watch dolphins and fish in the crystal clear sea below, wave to the excursion boats as they ply their way up to the deserted islands of the Marine Park and observe the birds and wildlife.

Heading down towards the sea, on the next terrace there is an outside shower perfect for rinsing away the salt water on your way back from the beach to the villa and prior to using the wonderful Jacuzzi set in an idyllic position overlooking the islands.

A third, circular terrace is a picturesque haven that offers a glorious spot to watch the sun set. It’s the terrace nearest the beach, so the sound of the waves lapping offers an idyllic accompaniment. It’s equipped with a double seat, a small table and an umbrella, so a gin and tonic is almost obligatory!

Steps lead from this terrace to a small private shingle beach which is large enough for just six people. The turquoise waters are sublimely clear and the perfect place to go swimming or snorkelling. If you prefer a larger beach, it’s easy to wade around the bay to a long shingle beach. You can also get to Agios Dimitrios.

All the steps that lead to the villa, the terraces and the beach are fully lit. However, the number of steps on the property does make it unsuitable for the elderly or infirm or those with very small children.

Fresh crayfish on the BBQ at the villa.
